Authority: Checking the authority of the website, author credentials, and skills.
Objectivity: Checking bias in the Web page. Is the aim of the author clearly stated? Is the site selling something with a specific agenda?
Currency: Date when the website was last updated and links from the site up-to-date.
Coverage: Comparing information with other sources. Checking the reading level of the material and references or links to more information?
Relevancy: Check if the website content is appropriate for your research needs?
Design: Checking grammatical errors, images used, and links. Is the website user-friendly? Is the navigation menu well labelled? Do the pages appear uncluttered? Are there ads or pop-ups on the page?
